We’re into the final third of the season and things are really starting to heat up.
In round 13 of the A-grade netball, 10th-placed South Rovers and ninth-placed Panmure go head-to-head in a match which could go either way.
A win would see the Lions move to the same points as the Bulldogs and potentially Russells Creek.
The Lions and the Bulldogs met in round four with the Lions triumphing by seven goals.
Timboon Demons (fifth) versus Dennington (fourth) shapes as an intriguing clash.
The Dogs are 18-points above the Demons on the ladder but the Demons won’t give in easy, especially with the chance to create a buffer between them and the teams below them.
In the senior football, Russells creek (third) faces Nirranda (fourth) in what should be an enthralling contest.
The Blues weren’t far off against the ladder-leader Merrivale in round 12 and will be desperate to knock off a top-three side for the first time this year.
South Rovers (10th) will be eyeing their first win of the season when they take on Panmure (ninth).
There’s a lot on the line for the Dogs, who could be as high as seventh if they triumph.
Thanks,
Matt
