Fifth spot is up for grabs in both netball and footy with only four rounds to go.
In the A-grade netball, Timboon Demons (fifth), Old Collegians (sixth) and Kolora-Noorat (seventh) all have 20 points and are vying for the last finals spot.
Russells Creek (eighth), South Rovers (ninth) and Panmure (10th) all have 12 points and aren’t far behind either.
Round 15 sees Timboon Demons and Kolora-Noorat go head-to-head in a match that could see the winner jump into outright fifth on the ladder.
Should Old Collegians stun Allansford (third) they could also leap into fifth depending on their percentage.
In the senior football, Old Collegians (fifth) and Timboon Demons (sixth) boast 24 points each and loom as the main contenders for fifth.
Kolora-Noorat (seventh) and Panmure (eighth) have 16 points and are still in the race too.
In round 15, Merrivale (first) can essentially sew up a top-two finish if it overcomes Russells Creek (third) in a blockbuster contest.
The Tigers are two wins clear of the Creekers but have a percentage which is more than 150 per cent greater.
Timboon Demons versus Kolora-Noorat is a huge contest for both clubs’ finals aspirations, while Old Collegians will be hoping it can upset Allansford for a second time this year.
The Cats (second) are equal on points with ladder-leader Merrivale and are a chance to be crowned minor premiers in four rounds time.
In the other clashes, South Rovers host Nirranda and Panmure plays Dennington.
